WHAT
IS A CHRISTIAN?
What
does it mean to become a Christian? Some people believe that it
is a simple change of what or who you think God is. Or to subscribe to the
teachings of the CHURCH. Perhaps
to claim to believe in a certain doctrine or teaching about God. Others believe it
is a cultural phenomena that if you were born in a home with a Christian background then you
are a Christian. Still many others associate it
with a political agenda. Many of our friends in the Middle East identify
themselves as Muslim, Jewish or Christian and yet still there is a great mystery to
many as to WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN? There is one thing that is
associated with Christianity that is unique however. That is the LORDSHIP of Jesus
Christ. What it means is that a true Christian believes Jesus is the
Creator God.
