WITH ROD HEMBREE
The history of how the wires were first tied is an interesting part of knowing where we are going. If we do not know where we have been we cannot know where we are going.
Born April 17th, 1791, a little tyke from Charlestown, MA, was destined to become the father of electronic media. Samuel B. Morse most famous for his coded dots and dashes (Morse code), was a strong believer in Jesus Christ. Although noted for his development of the telegraph, there were unique and painful motivations for his technological obsession. In his youth, Morse studied to be an artist traveling the world, but in his early adventures the winds of change were eminent. When returning home to America on a ship, S.B. Morse was traveling with another important military ship. It contained a peace treaty designed to avoid the war of 1812. The message however, was too slow in arriving and the infamous conflict of 1812 broke out.
